About me

I'm Paul — a cybersecurity student at the University of Akron (B.S. in Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity) with a hands-on background in IT, networking, and IT asset disposition.
I like getting deep into how systems work — and how to protect them. Based in Akron, Ohio.
Skills
What I bring to the table.
Network Security
Designing, segmenting, and analyzing networks with an eye for what an attacker sees.
Systems & Hardware
Hardware-level troubleshooting and system administration across every major platform.
Infrastructure & Tooling
Comfortable on enterprise gear and the command line, with scripting to tie it together.
Services & side work
Things I can help with.
Secure Data Destruction & ITAD
Drive wiping, secure data destruction, and asset auditing for retired or repurposed hardware.
Network Setup & Hardening
Design, segment, and lock down home or small-business networks — VLANs, firewalls, and Wi-Fi on Ubiquiti, Cisco, or Aruba.
PC & Hardware Troubleshooting
Builds, upgrades, diagnostics, and hardware-level repair across desktops, laptops, and servers.
Selected work
A few projects worth showing.
Home Lab Environment
A self-built lab of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and a NAS for hands-on network security and traffic analysis.
UniFi Network Deployment
Helped roll out a full Ubiquiti upgrade — router, firewall, switches, and access points — in a production ITAD environment.
Let's work together.
Have something in mind, or just want to say hi? I'd love to hear from you.
